The level of officiating in the NBA has undoubtedly taken a huge hit over the last few years.
There have been several instances when the referees have missed clear calls during the game, and the most recent example of this was how the officiating was conducted during the Sacramento Kings’ away game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
So much so that Kings head coach Mike Brown lost his calm during the fourth quarter of the game and berated referee Intae Hwang, which led to his ejection from the game.
Brown also explained the inconsistent refereeing with the help of a laptop during the postgame press conference.
Keeping these actions in mind, the NBA handed Brown a $50,000 fine, as revealed via Anthony Slater on Twitter.

As mentioned in the above tweet, the fine was given to Brown for the combination of his ejection during the game and using the laptop to share his frustration with the refs during the press conference.
While Brown successfully got his message across to the fans, it came at a cost of $50,000 for him.
Moreover, the Kings also lost the matchup against the Bucks thanks to an insane buzzer-beater by Damian Lillard in overtime.
The Kings are currently the fifth seed in the extremely competitive Western Conference.
They have a respectable 23-16 record this season, as the team will hope to recreate their last season magic to reach the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
